阿联酋化目标规定，员工超过50人的公司必须有2%的阿联酋员工，不合规的公司将面临罚款，将从2023年1月1日开始生效。

私营部门如果未完成目标，每缺少一名阿联酋员工，每月将被处以6000迪拉姆的罚款，罚款应一次性支付。

乌姆盖万和阿治曼禁止使用一次性塑料

乌姆盖万和阿治曼将从2023年1月1日起禁止使用一次性塑料，每个塑料袋将收取25费尔的费用。

阿布扎比、迪拜和沙迦禁止使用一次性塑料的禁令已于2022年生效。
