可能很多人不知道，

微信都有一个名为WeChat的国际版本。这个国际版本并不只是简简单单的名字不同，按照腾讯的说法，这两者是

“不同主体运营的姐妹产品，尽管某些功能在一定条件下能够互通”。

因为各个国家对于网络通讯软件的法规要求以及用户的网络隐私政策的要求不一样。比如，根据中国《网络安全法》里，相关的政策是：

这样的一些政策在国内合法合规没有问题，但是如果微信在国外运营的话，有些条款就会和当地的法律法规相冲突。

为了适应微信全球化，所以现在有微信和WECHAT两个版本，具体的区别详见下图：

下面胖哥就为大哥介绍一下如何在使用微信的情况下切换成Wechat版本。

准备一台智能手机（安卓或者苹果），安装微信8.0.13及以上版本

准备好阿联酋本地的手机号，DU，ETISALAT或者VIRGIN都可以

登录微信后，更换绑定手机号，便会自动弹出该界面：

根据胖哥实测，有些用户在更换绑定手机号码之后，并不一定会立即弹出切换对话框。

有可能需要使用一段时间后系统才会自动弹出切换界面（一周到一个月）。

如何分辨自己现在是微信还是WeChat用户？

A：设置-关于微信-《隐私保护指引》， 微信、WeChat(国际)、 WeChat(欧盟)有三个不同的版本。

如果出现以上提示的话，证明您的微信已经成功切换为Wechat版本，而Wechat版本的相关隐私政策为：

根据实际使用，更换版本之后完全不影响日常微信的使用。

去除掉相关国内版的功能之后，速度更快，使用效率更高，更加适合在海外生活的用户。

至于是否更换，仁者见仁智者见智，取决于您喽。
