在周一开幕的2022年全球信息技术博览会上，展示了在雪佛兰Bolt平台上制造的全电动自动驾驶汽车的测试模型。

这辆红白相间的掀背车顶上有一排摄像头。这是在Gitex Global的道路和交通管理局(RTA)展台上展示的自动驾驶汽车的特写视频。

更重要的是，据RTA的一位高级官员说，无人驾驶出租车的价格将是“负担得起的”。RTA公共交通管理局交通系统主管Khali Al Awadhi表示:“票价将与迪拜的豪华轿车服务相似。”

该部门正按计划在最后期限前推出该出租车。“从今年12月开始，大约有5辆这样的车辆将上路，进行最后的测试，并完成服务。”

到今年12月，阿联酋居民将能够在城市步道附近的朱美拉看到第一批处于测试阶段的无人驾驶出租车。迪拜将是美国以外首个使用Cruise自动驾驶汽车的城市。

先进的激光雷达技术帮助自动驾驶汽车“看到”。通过发射激光束，它可以测量速度和其他复杂的细节，精确到厘米。
