迪拜法官称：如果未支付工资，将冻结老板的资产

敦促公司按时付款并在遇到财务问题时与官员合作

一名高级法官警告那些未能按时支付工人工资的公司，他们的资产将被冻结。

该消息是在政府周一表示雇主必须按时全额支付员工工资之后发布的。

一项新的法律规定允许法院在涉及 100 多名工人拖欠工资的案件中冻结公司的银行账户和资产。

迪拜法院在执法方面取得了巨大成功。

“此举确保了被追捕公司的财产和资金被冻结，”迪拜法院劳工法庭负责人首席大法官贾马尔·贾贝里告诉《国民报》。

一旦劳工法庭作出裁决，公司的资产可能会被拍卖以清偿欠工人的款项。

“该规定的实施和各有关部门的努力，导致去年劳动案件数量总体下降。”

他说，这些部门包括迪拜法院、迪拜劳工事务常设委员会、人力资源和酋长国部以及迪拜警察局人权总局等。

2021 年最后一个季度，在公司老板逃离该国后，一大群工人提起诉讼，要求支付拖欠工资。

“在执行法庭的帮助下，我们立即下令冻结公司的资金，”Al Jaberi 先生说。

法官说，在该规定生效之前，所有者可以在法庭案件继续进行期间出售其公司的资产。他说，一旦法院作出判决，有时找不到资金支付工人的费用。

新法律有助于避免这种情况。

在法院作出有利于 2021 年案件的工人的裁决后，法院下令拍卖公司的资产以支付工人的费用，并使他们能够返回原籍国。

这位高级法官说，一般来说，超过 90% 的劳工案件都是关于拖欠工资的。
